Exam Question:
Type: Email
From: Nina Hello Jane, I’m writing because, as you know, Olivia is leaving our school and moving to Canada. I thought we could organize a surprise party for her. Do you think it’s a good idea? (Great Idea!) If so, can you think of a good place to have the party? (Suggest …) Would it be best to have it on a weekday or at the weekend? (Answer…Why?) Also, I’m thinking of hiring a DJ for the party. Do you know what sort of music Olivia likes best? (Answer) Email me soon! |
Write your email to Nina using all the notes.
Student's Answer:
“Hello Nina,
I’m so glad to hear from you!
I think it’s a very good idea to organise a surprise party, because she’d love it so much.
Maybe we could organize the party at my house, so it would be easier to plan. It will be better, because we can do whatever we want and we can save money.
Regarding the best day to have the party, I think we could have the surprise at the weekend, because on a weekday she has a lot of stuff to do.
Olivia loves music, especially rock, so we can hire a rock DJ. I am sure she will appreciate it!
Let me know asap.
Lots of love,
Jane”
